Stephen Horan was born in Alabama and grew up Georgia. He moved from Georgia to Kings Point, NY where he attended college at the United Stated Merchant Marine Academy. Stephen entered the United States Marine Corps right after college and his first duty station was Camp Lejeune, NC. After the Marine Corps, Stephen moved to Hickory, NC and joined Corning as an engineer. In 2001, Stephen married the woman of his dreams. Stephen and Juliet have two beautiful girls Shannen and Jordyn. Stephen continues to work at Corning and is also a co- owner of Fleet Feet Sports Hickory with his wife Juliet.

Stephen is also an avid athlete. He has complete numerous endurance events of all distances to include +20 Ironman triathlons and +15 70.3 triathlons to include multiple world championship events. Stephen has also completed numerous marathons and 50k races. Stephen is always doing some sort of training whether it is swimming, biking, or running. His passion is to help motivate people to move.
